大阪・関西万博サウジアラビア館の共演者、サウジ出身ミュージシャンReefと、ニューヨーク・ブルックリンから来たReefのマネージャーCindyと出演前にガンダムを観にきた。
Cindyの旦那様は日本人アーティストでこのガンダムにも関わってる。
ガンダムは人類が宇宙にまで戦争を持ち込んだ兵器だけど、こうやってガンダムにエキサイトする時間を国境を超えた仲間達と共有してる。

『機動戦士ガンダム』が企画された1978年６月、僕は大阪万博1970に建造された”太陽の塔”がそびえ立つ町で生まれた。

ガンダムの近くにあるパソナ館の屋根には原子力が原動力のアトムがいる。
「あなたたち人類は、その力を何に使いますか？
カッキー、あなたはその与えられたヴォイスで何をしますか？」
そう問いかけられた気がする。

僕は意味を超えてバイブレーションを伝える。
多分、意味を超えなきゃ、
国境は越えられないんだ。

Yesterday was the first day of my performance.
Before the show, I visited the Gundam statue with Reef, a musician from Saudi Arabia and my fellow performer at the Expo 2025 Saudi Pavilion, and his manager Cindy from Brooklyn, New York.
Cindy’s husband is a Japanese artist involved in the creation of this Gundam.
Though Gundam was originally designed as a weapon to depict humanity bringing war into space, today we shared a moment of excitement over it—across nations, as friends.

“GUNDAM RX-78”
In June 1978, the same month Mobile Suit Gundam was conceived, I was born in a town where the “Tower of the Sun,” built for Expo ’70 in Osaka, still stands tall.

On the roof of the nearby Pasona Pavilion, Astro Boy—powered by atomic energy—stands watching.
“Humanity, what will you use your power for?
Kackey, what will you do with your gifted voice?”
That’s the question I felt was being asked.

I convey vibrations beyond meaning.
Perhaps only when we transcend meaning
can we truly cross borders.
