映画監督でありシンガーソングライターでもある橋本昌彦さんは、この日Expoホールで開催された「Expo2025とExpo2030をつなぐ特別なイベント」で歌を披露されました。
そして今年9月、橋本監督の映画『LIFE いのち』が万博で上映されます！
昨年、そして今年2月には、神戸のプラネタリウムでこの映画と植物音楽ユニット「大地の種」が共演。
その映像美、そして深く訴えかけるメッセージに心が大きく震えました。
次の万博開催国であり、Vision2030のもと未来型都市づくりを進めているサウジアラビアにとって、
今のExpo2025とこれからの5年間は、きっと大きな意味を持つ時間。
そんな中で、橋本監督の映画『LIFE いのち』、そして僕の音や存在が、万博のひとつのピースとなっていることがとても面白く、そして光栄です。
これから人類が進む上で日本の霊性や精神性はとても重要な要素。

Filmmaker and singer-songwriter Masahiko Hashimoto, along with his wife Sayaka and Mr. Dome, visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai
On the same day, Mr. Hashimoto performed at the Expo Hall during a special event connecting Expo 2025 to the upcoming Expo 2030.
In September, his film LIFE: Inochi will be officially screened at the Expo!
Last year and again this February, our plant music unit “Seeds of Earth” performed live alongside this beautiful film at a planetarium in Kobe.
Its visual beauty and deeply resonant message shook me to the core.
For Saudi Arabia, the next host country of the Expo and a nation developing futuristic cities under Vision 2030, the five years between Expo 2025 and 2030 are surely a time of great importance.
It’s fascinating and humbling to know that Mr. Hashimoto’s film LIFE: Inochi, and my sound and presence, are becoming part of this moment.
Once again today, I’ll go beyond words—
