■ 概要

2026年、私は植物音楽（Music of the Plants）を432 Hzでサンプリングし、

人間の標準音律である440 Hzのウッドベース、

そして自らのファルセットボイスを重ねた短い実験作品を制作した。

タイトルは

「抜け目ない調律 / Tuned to Unbalance」。

意図的な不均衡を調律する試みである。

■ コンセプト

432 Hzはしばしば「地球的」「身体的」と語られる一方、

440 Hzは現代社会の標準化された音律である。

この作品では、

自然（植物）、規格（標準音律）、人間の声が

互いに一致しないまま共存する状態を描いている。

不協和は失敗ではなく、

共存のリアリティとして存在する。

■ ビジュアルについて

映像の前半では、デスク上の小さな竹と植物音楽デバイスの接続を映し、

後半では低身長のモデルと私の2ショット写真へディゾルブする。

異なる身体性と異なる音律が静かに並置される。

Overview

“Tuned to Unbalance” is a short experimental piece of approximately 50 seconds,

layering plant signals sampled at 432 Hz,

a hand-programmed upright bass tuned to the standard 440 Hz,

and my own falsetto voice.

Rather than seeking harmonic unity,

this work explores a deliberately constructed imbalance—

a precise misalignment.

Concept

432 Hz is often described as an “earthly” or “embodied” tuning,

while 440 Hz represents the international standard—

a symbol of modern systems, efficiency, and normalization.

In this piece,

nature (plants), standardization (tuning systems), and the human voice

coexist without agreement.

Dissonance here is not an error,

but a condition of coexistence in the contemporary world.

Visual Context

The first part of the video shows a small piece of bamboo placed on a desk,

connected to a plant music device.

The scene then slowly dissolves into a still image:

a two-shot photograph of myself and a low-height adult model sitting on a table.

Different bodies, different tunings, different presences—

placed side by side, without explanation.
