at Tokyo University Plant Music × Voice Resonance
at Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan. 日本声楽発生学会様から東京藝大にて、植物音楽と歌うことによる可能性について、プレゼン、デモンストレーションライブ、ワークショップのオファーをいただきました🌱 I was invited to present a lecture, live performance and participatory workshop at the 2026 Summer Seminar of the Japan Association for Research in Singing. Participants joined from different parts of Japan — researchers, educators, musicians, university students, and younger generations — exploring the relationship between Plant Music and the human voice. We listened to the sounds generated through plants, added voice and improvisation, and finally created a shared resonance together in the room. I am not a researcher.
 I am an artist. My role is to create music, experiences and spaces where new questions can emerge. What can happen when the human voice meets the sound of another living being? I believe this intersection holds possibilities not only for music, but also for education, research and new forms of artistic collaboration. The exploration continues. I’ve started a small social gathering called “Kack I’ve started a small social gathering called “Kackey Lounge” in Kobe. 完全招待・紹介制の小さな社交場 Kackey Loungeを神戸で始めました。 音楽家、アーティスト、クリエイター、旅人、面白い活動をしている人たち。 お酒を飲みながら話したり、 初めましての人同士がつながったり、 そこから新しい何かが始まったり。 そして、その夜の空気によっては、 突然、音楽が始まることも。 ライブイベントでもなく、 ただの飲み会でもない。 人と人がリアルに出会い、つながるための 小さな大人の社交場です。 定員は約15名。 月2〜3回ほど、不定期でひらいていく予定です。 基本は完全招待・紹介制ですが、 Kackey公式LINEから若干名ご案内できる回もあります。 「ちょっと気になる」という方は、 公式LINEからメッセージください🌱 次は、誰と誰が出会うのか。 何が始まるのか。 それも、この場所の楽しみ。 📷 @shinji.k.photo

Hiroshima, August 5–6, 2026. Two days of prayer, Hiroshima, August 5–6, 2026. Two days of prayer, meditation, sound, and human connection. I joined the Hiroshima International Peace Meditation Summit, led by Souken Danjo, and gathered with people in Hiroshima to reflect on inner peace and world peace. On August 6, we continued this journey through music at a concert hosted by Kokopelli House — sharing voice, plant music, prayer, and sound together. The words you hear in this film are from Souken Danjo. His message stayed with me: “Peace does not begin with the world.
It begins within each and every one of us.” Hiroshima is not only a place where we remember what happened.
It is also a place from which we can choose peace again. May peace begin within us,

I had the pleasure of spending several days with f I had the pleasure of spending several days with filmmaker and visual artist Ken Nikai @ken.2f at a photography exhibition held at Light Shokai in Gion, Kyoto. Ken Nikai is known for directing music videos for HYDE and L’Arc-en-Ciel, as well as the film Kagen no Tsuki — Last Quarter, based on Ai Yazawa’s manga. My portrait works had previously been exhibited there in March, and this time, the photographs featuring me were displayed facing Ken’s works across the gallery. It was also my first time spending several full days at an exhibition as one of the participating artists. Being able to slow down, stay in the space, and have meaningful conversations with so many visitors was a truly special experience. I received so much inspiration from those days.
